Happy Gotcha Day, Emma

Happy 13th Gotcha Day to our dogter, Emma - seen here on the same day in 2009, a little less grey, and and little less old-lady crotchety.

Wanted

This person stole my hat and phone. Please return if found.

Dognald Trump

Let's bark America woof again!

Actual Trump quote: "I do not wear a rug. My hair is 100 percent mine. No animals have been harmed in the creation of my hairstyle."

Del Dios 10K

First ever (and let's face it, probably only) podium finish. 3rd place in my age group (out of 17) at the Del Dios 10K. Hal (pictured) was second place, way out ahead of me, and his daughter came in second place in her age group as well. A good day for our group.

This week in music history

This week, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, N.W.A, and Steve Miller were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Closer to home, Jenna had both a choir and a band concert. I think she enjoyed being on stage.

Drone On

Immediately after this photo was taken, the drone crashed right into my chest. OOF!

Cultural Cooking

A little belated, but cooking matzah ball soup and latkes with friends (Piper and Peyton).

To the chefs go the spoils.

Five guys, two girls, and a burger place

Starting break with a burger and a "whose head is bigger" contest.

Spartan Trifecta

Untitled

The Spartan Trifecta is (from their website):
finishing one of each Spartan distance: Sprint, Super and Beast, in a calendar year (January 1 – December 31st), anywhere in the world.

For me that was the Las Vegas Super in April...

The Southern California Beast in September...

And finally, the Los Angeles Sprint this past weekend.

I'm aware that this is a marketing gimmick meant to separate me from my money three times, not just once. That being said, I had a blast at each race and am proud of the accomplishment.

AROO!

PS. I'm also aware that I need to stop doing the "arms raised" thing over the fire jump. Stupid.
