Sizing Chart

Everyone had doctors appointments today, and you know what that means... measurements!

Melanie is 24lbs and 32.5" long. That's the tenth to twenty-fifth percentile.

Jenna is 13lbs and 23.5" long. That's the 90th percentile!

Elephant Loves Butterflies

You may remember the original version of this post:

The shirt reads, "Elephant Loves Butterflies"

Of course, Melanie was 4 1/2 months old when that picture was taken. Jenna is not yet 2 months.

Update

Sorry for the lack of posts here recently. We had every intention of a long, sappy birthday post for Melanie and oodles of oh-so-cute Halloween photos. But little Jenna decided to be more like her sister in the worst way possible. So on Saturday, October 28 - two years to the day that Melanie first arrived there - we had to take Jenna to Children's Hospital with a high fever. She was admitted on Sunday and is doing really well. Fever seems to have broken and she looks good (of course!) and is eating and sleeping well.

However the medical establishment still doesn't know exactly what caused the fever and the seemingly related inflamations (sp?) so they are still running tests on a very brave little girl.

More news when we have it. But for now, please keep Jenna in your thoughts and prayers.

- Jeremy & Laura, & big sister Melanie.
