Dog Beach
Our day's activity: throwing the soccer ball (now firmly a dog toy) into the water.
Archie would dash into the waves to retrieve the ball, while Molly waited on shore...
... at which point she would steal the ball from him and deliver it back to us for a repeat.
Eventually it got hot, and Molly dug in to rest on the cooler sand below the surface.
... but not before "posing" for this "wistfully looking out to sea" portrait.
Pandemic context: You'll note that Jenna is wearing a mask, and there are unused cruise ships parked just off-shore.
