If Bush is so concerned about running a "moral" foreign policy, how can he dove-tail his strategy of pre-emption with the Golden Rule? Is it "do unto others as you would have them do unto you," or "do unto others before they can do to you ?"
new slogan/t-shirt logo...

Thanks to Santiago for brining up the fact that "granola" women have bad skin and inspiring this idea.
classic! this time from Slate.com's review of "The Year in Music":
"[Justin Timberlake]'s the perfect pop star for a moment when American culture is so passionately committed to conformity that the term "hater" gets applied to anyone with an opinion more personal than "click-to-add-to-cart.""
"The No. 4 record in Billboard last week was Now That's What I Call Music! 14, another compilation of the most familiar pop singles of the year. If everyone is downloading tracks instead of buying records, how does this happen?"
fun little piece from liberal gadfly Robert Scheer on Salon.com today. Exceprts:
"And now that the "fear factor" of Saddam's ghostly presence has been removed, there is no longer any valid explanation for why former members of Saddam's regime and key scientists cannot show us where all those infamous weapons of mass destruction went. After all, this invasion -- based on a new doctrine of preemptive war that bypassed United Nations inspectors -- was not pitched to the American people as a mercy mission."
"The capture of Saddam, while providing the president with fantastic propaganda footage, does nothing to make us safer from international terrorism. It could, however, shine a harsh light on Washington's decade-long military and economic support of the barbaric Saddam in his war against Iran's religious fanatics, who were making inroads with their brethren in Iraq."
"When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Get to the bottom and I see you again
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Get to the bottom and I see you again
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"
dude... Mick Jagger's dad! Who could be cooler on this planet than Mick Jagger? How about his 92-year old father (though I have to admit surprise that Mick wasn't sprung on this Earth, fully-formed and rockin')?
Question of the day...
who starts for ManU in their midfield? We can assume Keane, Neville, Giggs and Scholes. That leaves the right side of the advanced midfield trio. Kleberson, Ronaldo or Fletcher? Any bets?
Late Update (12/15): Kleberson starts... plays well, but doesn't produce much until crossing for Scholes' 2nd goal. It turns out to be his last touch of the game as he is withdrawn for Ronaldo.
